So can we just talk about the fact that this episode seriously confused my feelings towards a lot of people. First of fucking all, can we all agree to start hating Lydia now? She got her chance to make us feel bad for her and to decide if she wanted to be a good guy or not… well times up fam. I’m frankly tired of her presence and I need her to leave like yesterday. K thanks. Second of all, thank you writers for providing me with the internal conflict of choosing between Magnus and Alec in terms of who I feel worse for. Btdubs, it’s Magnus rn. I really need Alec to get the fuck over this “be better than mommy and daddy” thing and get back to the good ole Alec we all know and love. I hate that I’m saying this, but I was rooting more for Jace and Clary than anyone in this episode. I wanted Jace to beat the fuck out of Alec and maybe knock some sense into him. I just need things to be normal again because I don’t know how much more of this I can take. We were promised Malec and I understand that we aren’t going to get it without a fight, but damn! Can you not shatter our (and Magnus’) hearts into a million pieces first! Also, is anyone else shipping Raphael and Simon? No? Just me… okay then. Anyway, i really enjoyed this episode… but can we just focus more on the getting rid of Lydia and helping Alec thing. And please for the love of god, do not keep shoving this wedding bullshit in my face. No one besides Alec feels bad for Lydia seeing as she’s made up of about 99.9% bitch material. And I know were technically supposed to hate Alec’s dad…but I just can’t. He isn’t cold and mean enough to hate. Okay, I think I’m done ranting for now. Lets hope next weeks episode can mend some broken parts because right now, I hate everything that has led me to this point in my life. |
